I started developing a game at the age of 14 with the assistance of my friend Waleed Alnaser, who resides in the United States. The game was built using eAthena and I was responsible for creating quests and items. I also established a community for players who loved Ragnarok. At its peak, we had approximately 3000 players online worldwide.
As the lead developer, I was in charge of maintaining the game, including writing automated scripts, setting up patches, installers, fixing bugs, and configuring the game client. I also provided technical support to end-users by answering their questions and helping with lost account/character recovery.
In 2012-2013, we faced DDOS attacks that resulted in the loss of players. I was able to provide effective solutions to the most common problems faced by private servers, which helped in recovering lost players.
In addition to technical responsibilities, I also organized events for the game masters and set up live streams using Streamlabs OBS. I consistently came up with new ideas to keep the game exciting and engaging for players.
